I want to share with you what I've learned from 8 years of travel (3 full time) and over 60 countries and counting. These are the things I use to travel cheaper and for longer. Here you can find my top travel secrets, accessories and special discounts!

G Adventures provide amazing small group tours that often give back to the places they visit via community projects. They are leaders in Sustainable tourism and, as a loyal customer, I highly recommend them. Click below for Up to 25% Off Adventure Travel Deals!

Flights

Just like hotel rooms flight prices can vary hugely depending on where you book. To find the best deals online use Google flights or Skyscanner. Compare prices on different days of the week. If you’re undecided on where to go use Skyscanner search box below. Just type in your dates and type ‘everywhere’ in the search bar to reveal the cheapest places to fly.

Accommodation

Booking.com

My go to site for accommodation. If you travel often and use Booking.com you become a “Genius” member getting great discounted rates and special perks. I’m not totally opposed to Air BnB but it’s hard to know when it’s damaging the local area plus prices aren’t always cheaper.

Travel Money

Transferwise

Now you can have multiple accounts in different currencies all in one place. Accounts even come with local bank details so you can get paid from different countries. And there is a clear fee when exchanging money with set low rates. Apply here now!

If you need a joint account for couples that travel there is Monzo. They actually use Transferwise so you get the same great rates with a few extra flashy features. Use this link to get £5 when you sign up.

Travel Accessories

Over the years on the road I’ve definitely learned that less is more. However there are certain things that make travel way easier and more nature friendly. Check out all of my lists on Amazon;

Learn A Language

Learning a new language is one of the best things to do with your time if you want to travel more. Spend 15 mins a day on Duo Lingo instead of social media and it can help you in your travels  and maybe even live somewhere else.
